Constituent service encompasses a wide array of non-legislative activities undertaken by congressional staff, and it is commonly considered a representational responsibility. Our office commonly assist constituents with casework matters involving applications for Social Security, veterans’, or other federal benefits; obtaining a missing record or payment from a federal agency; or assistance with immigration matters.
